How to Use Your Earplugs
Instructions
How to prepare, insert, and remove your Mighty Plugs
To Prepare
To prepare and insert your earplugs, just prior to each use:
- Take one ear plug and knead it thoroughly between your fingers or hands for 20 seconds. This will soften it, make it moldable, and distribute the pure lanolin throughout the earplug.
- Using your index finger, gently push and flatten the ear plug firmly in and against your ear opening until your obtain a good seal. If the ear plug does not seal immediately, keep your finger pressed against it with slight pressure for a few more seconds and it will warm and seal.
- Be sure to flatten the ear plug gently in and against your ear opening so that it does not protrude outward, but rather creates a complete seal.
To Customize
Customize your fit by adding or removing material to ensure that:
- There is a complete seal outside the ear canal in the main cavity
- Enough material fits in the ear canal to block out sound
For adults and children with smaller ear canals, the ear plug can be made smaller by simply pinching off some material and creating the exact size that fits the ear canal perfectly; yet that covers the ear opening, sealing the opening.
For those with very large ear canals, simply add or combine the ear plug material to create a larger ear plug.
(Repeat all steps for your other ear.)
To Remove
Simply pinch the ear plug between your thumb and index finger, then SLOWLY AND GENTLY pull down and outward.

Reuse & Replace
Replace your plugs every 25–30 uses, once a clean seal is no longer achievable.
